Basic requirements for candidates:

1. Genuine passion for the subject, with an interdisciplinary outlook, preferably with research experience;

2. A bachelor’s degree, with master’s or more advanced degree preferred;

3. Professional certification, or the equivalent in education, training or experience;

4. Over two years of teaching experience, with overseas educational background preferred;

5. Teaching experience in IB, AP, A-levels and/or IGCSE programs preferred;

6. Commitment to a student-centered approach or project/problem-based learning (which encourages students to think both creatively and critically);

7. Willingness to collaborate, to engage in teamwork, to contribute actively to the department and to interact with other departments in interdisciplinary ways, with cross-office cooperation;

8. First language is English, which is used as the language of instruction and/or the workplace;

9. Sufficient computer skills to carry out professional work with students and colleagues.
