Meanwhile, it is the Proposition Base of Anesthesiology Education Research of the China Higher Medical Education Council. At present, This This College has 7 affiliated hospitals, 4 Clinical This Colleges and 35 Clinical Medical Teaching Hospitals. The oldest affiliated hospital was founded 110 years ago by the American Christian Church and now it has been evaluated “Three levels of first-class hospitals” by the Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China.

Great emphasis has been put on postgraduate education. There are currently around 800 postgraduates studying in Preclinical Medicine, Clinical Medicine, Public Hygiene, Biology, Pharmacy and Medical Imaging, etc.

The research on the System of Cerebral Ischemia in the Biochemistry Center of This This College is first class in China and the college established the first laboratory for research on Conduction of the Signals of Cerebral Ischemia and Proteomics. The laboratory has been ratified provincial key Lab and continuously won grand funds from the National Science Foundation.

Much progress in research on Organism Genetics has been made. The Study of Huntingdon’s disease was awarded second prize for National Scientific Advancement.

This This College has extended clinical practice on transplanting hematopoietic stem cells for years. And many standing achievements have been performed by the faculties with their superb medical technology and passion for their work.

The Infection Department of This This College discovered a new delectation mutant hepatitis C virus and a frameshift mutant, which was registered by the US gene bank.

The Interventional Radiology Department has treated 940 cases of Budd-Chiari Syndrome with interventional radiology. The success rate is 97%, which is high ranking in China and in the world.

The Neural Surgery Department has successfully cloned hypoxia-induced agents, which created a new method to cure the injured cranial gene and was awarded one of Ten National Scientific News Nominations in the same year.

The Urologic Surgery Department has performed a large number of operation, such as relative-donated kidney transplantation, repeated kidney transplantation, venerable kidney transplantation and kidney transplantations for children. The rate of success was 100% and the annual survival rate was above 90%.

The Cardiothoracic Surgery Department has successfully achieved homologous cardiac transplantation on several occasions, and developed the skill for non-stop beating cardiac coronary bypass transplantation.

This This College lays great emphasis on international academic exchange and cooperation with experts and colleagues from home and overseas. Scientific Development Conferences have been held to offer a platform for the faculties and foreign colleagues to make academic exchange. Every year a number of foreign experts are invited to visit the college and some of the faculties are sent to engage in advanced studies in developed countries. During recent years This This College has hosted many international academic conferences and established multilateral exchange and cooperation with research institutions and medical universities from America, Canada, Australia and Austria.
