Teaching Positions Available in 2016（English version）

Brief introduction:

It is located in the historic and cultural city of Yongzhou, Hunan Province. Yongzhou City is located in the southwest of Hunan Province，and has an area of 224,000 square meters and a population of 6,100,000. As a transport hub and an important gate of Hunan Province opening to the outside world, it is accessible to various large cities through high-speed rail, highways and airlines.

Our University is a public full-time undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education and administrated by Hunan Education Department. Founded in 1941, it is a science & engineering centered multidisciplinary comprehensive university with local features.

Covering an area of 763,000 square meters, the campus has a building area of over 450,000 square meters. The library has a collection of more than 1,070,000 volumes. The worth of teaching instruments totals more than 140,000,000 RMB and the fixed assets totals more than 730,000,000 RMB. Covering verdant trees, Our University is regarded to be an ideal place for study with picturesque environment.

At present, Our University has a full-time enrollment of over 14,000 students, plus more than 5000 students of adult-education. It now has 12 colleges, with 3 provincial disciplines for priority investment and construction, 41 undergraduate academic programs. There are 1100 faculty and staff members in Our University, among whom 760 are full-time teachers, including 90 professors and 220 associate professors. Among the teachers, 75 are with Ph.D degrees and 650 with master’s degrees. Our University has won awards and titles of honor such as “Outstanding Universities in China for Teaching Achievement Awards” for five times.

Some International teachers are needed in September 2016 not only in English college but in other colleges--- 10-month renewable contracts are preferred.

 Requirements:

1、  Degree: Bachelor and Above or Holder of TEFL/TESOL

2、  Citizenship: USA, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand for English language teachers, other subjects not specified.

3、  Subjects: English, Japanese, Economics, Ballet, Computer and others.

4、  Age: 24 to 60.

5、  Gender: not specified.

6、  Other Requirements: healthy, no criminal record, teaching experience is not necessary but preferred.

Benefits:

1、  Monthly: after tax, salary of 5500 to 8000 RMB（according to degree, subject, teaching experience, usually 5500-6000 RMB for English language teachers, 6000-8000 for professional teachers）within 18 teaching periods (45 minutes each teaching period) a week from Monday to Friday. Extra hours will be paid.

2、  Airfares: Round-trip ticket available for two semesters, and one-way ticket for one semester.

3、2200 RMB travel bonus for completion of the full academic year contract.
